Khurar is a small village of 265 hectares in Bundi Tehsil in Bundi district, also known as a city of stepwells in the State of Rajasthan, India.[1] The village is administrated by a sarpanch who is elected representative of the village by the local elections. Khurar depends on BUNDI, the nearest town for all major economic activities.[2] The village has government-provided water facilities that include Two taps, One Well supply, Two tanks, One tubewell, and One handpump. The villagers also acquire water from some of the natural water sources - One river, One canal and Two springs. Khurar is also surrounded by Two lakes. The population of the village depends on the source of drinking water during summer on Handpump. Khurar's pin code is 323021[3], and village code is 02772500. The area of Khurar is segregated as 190.05 hectares irrigated area, the 12.07 hectare area under culturable waste (including gauchar and groves), and remaining 63.08 hectare area not available for cultivation.

The workforce is 210 male, 196 female with 389 (95.81%) of all workers being employed full-time, this includes 201 males and 188 females. 165 males and 155 females are considered as the main cultivators with the help of 22 male and 27 female agricultural labor. 17 people are reported to work for a marginal period of time in the year.
They depend on the agricultural markets (Mandi) of the nearby towns of Bundi to sell agricultural produce and make their living.
