Khootiya is a small village of 520 hectares in Raipur Tehsil in Bhilwara district, also known as the Textile City in the State of Rajasthan, India.[2] The village is administrated by a sarpanch who is elected representative of the village by the local elections. Khootiya depends on Gangapur, the nearest town for all major economic activities.[3] The village has government-provided water facilities that include Two taps, One Well supply, which is 28.58% of the total supply, Two tanks, Two tubewells, and One handpump. The villagers also acquire water from some of the natural water sources - Two rivers, Two canals and Two springs. Khootiya is also surrounded by Two lakes. The population of the village depends on the source of drinking water during summer on Handpump. Khootiya's pin code is 311805[4], and village code is 02857600. The area of Khootiya is segregated as 58.58 hectares irrigated area, 141.21 hectares unirrigated, the 244.5 hectare area under culturable waste (including gauchar and groves), and remaining 76.11 hectare area not available for cultivation.

They depend on the agricultural markets (Mandi) of the nearby towns of Gangapur and Bhilwara to sell ghee and make their living.
