Khood is a small village of 2167 hectares in Danta Ramgarh Tehsil in Sikar district in the State of Rajasthan, India.[2] The village is administrated by a sarpanch who is elected representative of the village by the local elections. Khood depends on Losal, the nearest town for all major economic activities.[3] The village has government-provided water facilities that include One tap, One Well supply, which is 1398.00% of the total supply, Two tanks, One tubewell, and One handpump. The villagers also acquire water from some of the natural water sources - Two rivers, Two canals and Two springs. Khood is also surrounded by Two lakes. The population of the village depends on the source of drinking water during summer on Handpump. Khood's pin code is 332023[4], and village code is 01705300. The area of Khood is segregated as 1398 hectares irrigated area, 635 hectares unirrigated, the 49 hectare area under culturable waste (including gauchar and groves), and remaining 85 hectare area not available for cultivation.

They depend on the agricultural markets (Mandi) of the nearby towns of Losal and Sikar to sell agricultural produce and make their living.
