Khokharia is a small village of 715 hectares in Jodhpur Tehsil in Jodhpur district, also known as the Blue City in the State of Rajasthan, India.[2] The village is administrated by a sarpanch who is elected representative of the village by the local elections. Khokharia depends on Jodhpur, the nearest town for all major economic activities.[3] The village has government-provided water facilities that include One tap, Two Wells supply, One tank, Two tubewells, and Two handpumps. The villagers also acquire water from some of the natural water sources - Two rivers, Two canals and Two springs. Khokharia is also surrounded by Two lakes. The population of the village depends on the source of drinking water during summer on Tanker. Khokharia's pin code is 342027[4], and village code is 01966600. The area of Khokharia is segregated as 616.92 hectares unirrigated, the 45.6 hectare area under culturable waste (including gauchar and groves), and remaining 52 hectare area not available for cultivation.

They depend on the agricultural markets (Mandi) of the nearby towns of Jodhpur to sell ghee and make their living.
