Khokhar is a small village of 895 hectares in Baytoo Tehsil in Barmer district in the State of Rajasthan, India.[2] The village is administrated by a sarpanch who is elected representative of the village by the local elections. Khokhar depends on BALOTRA, the nearest town for all major economic activities.[3] The village has government-provided water facilities that include One tap, One Well supply, Two tanks, Two tubewells, and Two handpumps. The villagers also acquire water from some of the natural water sources - Two rivers, Two canals and Two springs. Khokhar is also surrounded by Two lakes. The population of the village depends on the source of drinking water during summer on Well. Khokhar's pin code is 344032[4], and village code is 02116600. The area of Khokhar is segregated as 431.89 hectares unirrigated, remaining 66.87 hectare area not available for cultivation.

They depend on the agricultural markets (Mandi) of the nearby towns of BALOTRA and Barmer to sell woolan cloth and make their living.
