Khohri Kalan is a small village of 448 hectares in Tijara Tehsil in Alwar district in the State of Rajasthan, India.[2] The village is administrated by a sarpanch who is elected representative of the village by the local elections. Khohri Kalan depends on BHIWADI, the nearest town for all major economic activities.[3] The village has government-provided water facilities that include Two taps, One Well supply, One tank, One tubewell, and One handpump. The villagers also acquire water from some of the natural water sources - Two rivers, Two canals and Two springs. Khohri Kalan is also surrounded by Two lakes. The population of the village depends on the source of drinking water during summer on Handpump. Khohri Kalan's pin code is 301707[4], and village code is 00802400. The area of Khohri Kalan is segregated as 179 hectares irrigated area, 100 hectares unirrigated, the 63 hectare area under culturable waste (including gauchar and groves), and remaining 18 hectare area not available for cultivation.
