Khirjan Khas is a small village of 2062 hectares in Shergarh Tehsil in Jodhpur district, also known as the Blue City in the State of Rajasthan, India.[2] The village is administrated by a sarpanch who is elected representative of the village by the local elections. Khirjan Khas depends on Jodhpur, the nearest town for all major economic activities.[3] The village has government-provided water facilities that include Two taps, One Well supply, which is 73.00% of the total supply, Two tanks, One tubewell, and One handpump. The villagers also acquire water from some of the natural water sources - Two rivers, Two canals and Two springs. Khirjan Khas is also surrounded by Two lakes. The population of the village depends on the source of drinking water during summer on Handpump. Khirjan Khas's pin code is 342028[4], and village code is 01985000. The area of Khirjan Khas is segregated as 73 hectares irrigated area, 1904 hectares unirrigated, the 34 hectare area under culturable waste (including gauchar and groves), and remaining 51 hectare area not available for cultivation.
