Khijooriya Ahiran is a small village of 254 hectares in Bassi Tehsil in Jaipur district, also known as the Pink City in the State of Rajasthan, India.[2] The village is administrated by a sarpanch who is elected representative of the village by the local elections. Khijooriya Ahiran depends on Jaipur, the nearest town for all major economic activities.[3] The village has government-provided water facilities that include Two taps, One Well supply, which is 178.32% of the total supply, Two tanks, Two tubewells, and One handpump. The villagers also acquire water from some of the natural water sources - Two rivers, Two canals and Two springs. Khijooriya Ahiran is also surrounded by Two lakes. The population of the village depends on the source of drinking water during summer on Handpump. Khijooriya Ahiran's pin code is 303012[4], and village code is 01613300. The area of Khijooriya Ahiran is segregated as 178.32 hectares irrigated area, 14.21 hectares unirrigated, the 49.13 hectare area under culturable waste (including gauchar and groves), and remaining 12.24 hectare area not available for cultivation.
