Khidrat is a small village of 6994 hectares in Phalodi Tehsil in Jodhpur district, also known as the Blue City in the State of Rajasthan, India.[2] The village is administrated by a sarpanch who is elected representative of the village by the local elections. Khidrat depends on Phalodi, the nearest town for all major economic activities.[3] The village has government-provided water facilities that include One tap, Two Wells supply, One tank, One tubewell, and Two handpumps. The villagers also acquire water from some of the natural water sources - Two rivers, Two canals and Two springs. Khidrat is also surrounded by Two lakes. The population of the village depends on the source of drinking water during summer on Tubewell. Khidrat's pin code is 342307[4], and village code is 01911700. The area of Khidrat is segregated as 6527.69 hectares unirrigated, the 312.98 hectare area under culturable waste (including gauchar and groves), and remaining 153.49 hectare area not available for cultivation.
