Khetasar is a small village of 4505 hectares in Osian Tehsil in Jodhpur district, also known as the Blue City in the State of Rajasthan, India.[2] The village is administrated by a sarpanch who is elected representative of the village by the local elections. Khetasar depends on Jodhpur, the nearest town for all major economic activities.[3] The village has government-provided water facilities that include Two taps, Two Wells supply, Two tanks, One tubewell, and One handpump. The villagers also acquire water from some of the natural water sources - Two rivers, Two canals and Two springs. Khetasar is also surrounded by Two lakes. The population of the village depends on the source of drinking water during summer on Handpump. Khetasar's pin code is 342303[4], and village code is 01936400. The area of Khetasar is segregated as 245 hectares irrigated area, 3831 hectares unirrigated, remaining 429 hectare area not available for cultivation.
