Kherwari is a small village of 535 hectares in Amber Tehsil in Jaipur district, also known as the Pink City in the State of Rajasthan, India.[2] The village is administrated by a sarpanch who is elected representative of the village by the local elections. Kherwari depends on Jaipur, the nearest town for all major economic activities.[3] The village has government-provided water facilities that include Two taps, One Well supply, which is 116.20% of the total supply, Two tanks, One tubewell, and One handpump. The villagers also acquire water from some of the natural water sources - Two rivers, Two canals and Two springs. Kherwari is also surrounded by Two lakes. The population of the village depends on the source of drinking water during summer on Handpump. Kherwari's pin code is 303805[4], and village code is 01580700. The area of Kherwari is segregated as 116.2 hectares irrigated area, 126.13 hectares unirrigated, the 110.52 hectare area under culturable waste (including gauchar and groves), and remaining 35.85 hectare area not available for cultivation.

They depend on the agricultural markets (Mandi) of the nearby towns of Jaipur and Jaipur to sell earthen pot and make their living.
