Kherwar is a small village of 1108 hectares in Jayal Tehsil in Nagaur district in the State of Rajasthan, India.[2] The village is administrated by a sarpanch who is elected representative of the village by the local elections. Kherwar depends on Mundwa, the nearest town for all major economic activities.[3] The village has government-provided water facilities that include Two taps, One Well supply, One tank, One tubewell, and Two handpumps. The villagers also acquire water from some of the natural water sources - Two rivers, Two canals and Two springs. Kherwar is also surrounded by Two lakes. The population of the village depends on the source of drinking water during summer on Tubewell. Kherwar's pin code is 341027[4], and village code is 01791200. The area of Kherwar is segregated as 71.33 hectares irrigated area, 402.08 hectares unirrigated, the 272.19 hectare area under culturable waste (including gauchar and groves), and remaining 362.02 hectare area not available for cultivation.

Kherwar is a census village in the district of Nagaur, Rajasthan. The village has a total population of 814 and has total administration over 148 houses which are connected to supplies basic amenities like water and sewerage.

They depend on the agricultural markets (Mandi) of the nearby towns of Mundwa and Nagaur to sell agricultural produce and make their living.
