Kherla is a small village of 145 hectares in Lachhmangarh Tehsil in Alwar district in the State of Rajasthan, India.[2] The village is administrated by a sarpanch who is elected representative of the village by the local elections. Kherla depends on KISHANGARH, the nearest town for all major economic activities.[3] The village has government-provided water facilities that include Two taps, One Well supply, which is 45.00% of the total supply, One tank, Two tubewells, and One handpump. The villagers also acquire water from some of the natural water sources - Two rivers, Two canals and Two springs. Kherla is also surrounded by Two lakes. The population of the village depends on the source of drinking water during summer on Handpump. Kherla's pin code is 301021[4], and village code is 00826900. The area of Kherla is segregated as 45 hectares irrigated area, 80 hectares unirrigated, remaining 20.07 hectare area not available for cultivation.
