Kherla is a small village of 757 hectares in Chirawa Tehsil in Jhunjhunu district in the State of Rajasthan, India.[2] The village is administrated by a sarpanch who is elected representative of the village by the local elections. Kherla depends on PILANI, the nearest town for all major economic activities.[3] The village has government-provided water facilities that include One tap, One Well supply, Two tanks, One tubewell, and Two handpumps. The villagers also acquire water from some of the natural water sources - Two rivers, Two canals and Two springs. Kherla is also surrounded by Two lakes. The population of the village depends on the source of drinking water during summer on Well. Kherla's pin code is 333035[4], and village code is 00697800. The area of Kherla is segregated as 515 hectares irrigated area, 101 hectares unirrigated, the 11 hectare area under culturable waste (including gauchar and groves), and remaining 130 hectare area not available for cultivation.

Kherla has One post office (Kherala B.O) and Ten public telephones. Kherla has Two banks and Two credit societies for the regulation of economic activity. The village is also equipped with Two recreational centers.

Kherla is a census village in the district of Jhunjhunu, Rajasthan. The village has a total population of 2562 and has total administration over 435 houses which are connected to supplies basic amenities like water and sewerage.

They depend on the agricultural markets (Mandi) of the nearby towns of PILANI and Jhunjhunu to sell earthen pot and make their living.
