Kherki is a small village of 996 hectares in Sarada Tehsil in Udaipur district in the state of Rajasthan, India.[2] The village is administrated by a sarpanch who is elected representative of the village by the local elections. Kherki depends on Salumbar, the nearest town for all major economic activities.[3] The village has government-provided water facilities that include Two taps, One Well supply, One tank, Two tubewells, and One handpump. The villagers also acquire water from some of the natural water sources - Two rivers, Two canals and Two springs. Kherki is also surrounded by Two lakes. The population of the village depends on the source of drinking water during summer on Handpump. Kherki's pin code is 313902[4], and village code is 03252900. The area of Kherki is segregated as 58 hectares irrigated area, 45 hectares unirrigated, remaining 890 hectare area not available for cultivation.
