Kheriya is a small village of 448 hectares in Jhalrapatan Tehsil in Jhalawar district in the State of Rajasthan, India.[2] The village is administrated by a sarpanch who is elected representative of the village by the local elections. Kheriya depends on Bakani, the nearest town for all major economic activities.[3] The village has government-provided water facilities that include Two taps, One Well supply, which is 53.12% of the total supply, Two tanks, Two tubewells, and One handpump. The villagers also acquire water from some of the natural water sources - Two rivers, Two canals and Two springs. Kheriya is also surrounded by Two lakes. The population of the village depends on the source of drinking water during summer on Handpump. Kheriya's pin code is 326023[4], and village code is 04025800. The area of Kheriya is segregated as 104.99 hectares irrigated area, 118.35 hectares unirrigated, the 73.36 hectare area under culturable waste (including gauchar and groves), and remaining 129.94 hectare area not available for cultivation.

Kheriya is a census village in the district of Jhalawar, Rajasthan. The village has a total population of 1810 and has total administration over 456 houses which are connected to supplies basic amenities like water and sewerage.

They depend on the agricultural markets (Mandi) of the nearby towns of Bakani and Jhalawar to sell earthen pot and make their living.
