Kherali is a small village of 1300 hectares in Baran Tehsil in Baran district in the State of Rajasthan, India.[2] The village is administrated by a sarpanch who is elected representative of the village by the local elections. Kherali depends on Baran, the nearest town for all major economic activities.[3] The village has government-provided water facilities that include Two taps, Two Wells supply, One tank, One tubewell, and One handpump. The villagers also acquire water from some of the natural water sources - Two rivers, Two canals and Two springs. Kherali is also surrounded by Two lakes. The population of the village depends on the source of drinking water during summer on Handpump. Kherali's pin code is 325205[4], and village code is 03876600. The area of Kherali is segregated as 670 hectares irrigated area, 514 hectares unirrigated, the 21 hectare area under culturable waste (including gauchar and groves), and remaining 95 hectare area not available for cultivation.

Kherali has One post office (Kherali B.O) and One public telephone. Kherali has Two banks, One credit society and One agricultural credit society for the regulation of economic activity. The village is also equipped with Two recreational centers.

They depend on the agricultural markets (Mandi) of the nearby towns of Baran to sell agricultural produce and make their living.
