Khera is a small village of 203 hectares in Viratnagar Tehsil in Jaipur district, also known as the Pink City in the State of Rajasthan, India.[2] The village is administrated by a sarpanch who is elected representative of the village by the local elections. Khera depends on Viratnagar, the nearest town for all major economic activities.[3] The village has government-provided water facilities that include Two taps, One Well supply, which is 90.00% of the total supply, Two tanks, Two tubewells, and One handpump. The villagers also acquire water from some of the natural water sources - Two rivers, Two canals and Two springs. Khera is also surrounded by Two lakes. The population of the village depends on the source of drinking water during summer on Handpump. Khera's pin code is 303003[4], and village code is 01465000. The area of Khera is segregated as 98.69 hectares irrigated area, 39.55 hectares unirrigated, the 53.03 hectare area under culturable waste (including gauchar and groves), and remaining 11.43 hectare area not available for cultivation.

Khera is a census village in the district of Jaipur, Rajasthan. The village has a total population of 1095 and has total administration over 162 houses which are connected to supplies basic amenities like water and sewerage.

They depend on the agricultural markets (Mandi) of the nearby towns of Viratnagar and Jaipur to sell gh and make their living.
