Khera is a small village of 445 hectares in Sapotra Tehsil in Karauli district in the State of Rajasthan, India.[2] The village is administrated by a sarpanch who is elected representative of the village by the local elections. Khera depends on HINDAUN, the nearest town for all major economic activities.[3] The village has government-provided water facilities that include Two taps, One Well supply, which is 338.78% of the total supply, Two tanks, One tubewell, and One handpump. The villagers also acquire water from some of the natural water sources - Two rivers, Two canals and Two springs. Khera is also surrounded by Two lakes. The population of the village depends on the source of drinking water during summer on Well. Khera's pin code is 322251[4], and village code is 01215300. The area of Khera is segregated as 338.78 hectares irrigated area, 51.64 hectares unirrigated, the 17.4 hectare area under culturable waste (including gauchar and groves), and remaining 37.2 hectare area not available for cultivation.

Khera is a census village in the district of Karauli, Rajasthan. The village has a total population of 3821 and has total administration over 652 houses which are connected to supplies basic amenities like water and sewerage.

They depend on the agricultural markets (Mandi) of the nearby towns of HINDAUN and Karauli to sell earthen pots and make their living.
