Khawda is a small village of 196 hectares in Sapotra Tehsil in Karauli district in the State of Rajasthan, India.[2] The village is administrated by a sarpanch who is elected representative of the village by the local elections. Khawda depends on GANGAPUR CITY, the nearest town for all major economic activities.[3] The village has government-provided water facilities that include Two taps, One Well supply, which is 35.65% of the total supply, One tank, Two tubewells, and One handpump. The villagers also acquire water from some of the natural water sources - One river, One canal and Two springs. Khawda is also surrounded by Two lakes. The population of the village depends on the source of drinking water during summer on Handpump. Khawda's pin code is 322218[4], and village code is 01251500. The area of Khawda is segregated as 115.85 hectares irrigated area, 5.78 hectares unirrigated, the 8.62 hectare area under culturable waste (including gauchar and groves), and remaining 65.42 hectare area not available for cultivation.

They depend on the agricultural markets (Mandi) of the nearby towns of GANGAPUR CITY and Karauli to sell ghee and make their living.
