Khawas is a small village of 1921 hectares in Beawar Tehsil in Ajmer district in the State of Rajasthan, India.[2] The village is administrated by a sarpanch who is elected representative of the village by the local elections. Khawas depends on Kekri, the nearest town for all major economic activities.[3] The village has government-provided water facilities that include One tap, One Well supply, One tank, Two tubewells, and One handpump. The villagers also acquire water from some of the natural water sources - Two rivers, Two canals and Two springs. Khawas is also surrounded by Two lakes. The population of the village depends on the source of drinking water during summer on Handpump. Khawas's pin code is 305405[4], and village code is 02582000. The area of Khawas is segregated as 237 hectares irrigated area, 789 hectares unirrigated, the 673 hectare area under culturable waste (including gauchar and groves), and remaining 222 hectare area not available for cultivation.

Khawas has One post office (Khawas B.O) and One public telephone. The village is connected with a single bus service. Khawas has One bank and Two credit societies for the regulation of economic activity. The village is also equipped with Two recreational centers.

Khawas is a census village in the district of Ajmer, Rajasthan. The village has a total population of 3338 and has total administration over 713 houses which are connected to supplies basic amenities like water and sewerage.

They depend on the agricultural markets (Mandi) of the nearby towns of Kekri and Ajmer to sell agricultural produce and make their living.
