Khatawas is a small village of 1413 hectares in Luni Tehsil in Jodhpur district, also known as the Blue City in the State of Rajasthan, India.[2] The village is administrated by a sarpanch who is elected representative of the village by the local elections. Khatawas depends on Jodhpur, the nearest town for all major economic activities.[3] The village has government-provided water facilities that include One tap, One Well supply, One tank, One tubewell, and One handpump. The villagers also acquire water from some of the natural water sources - Two rivers, Two canals and Two springs. Khatawas is also surrounded by Two lakes. The population of the village depends on the source of drinking water during summer on Handpump. Khatawas's pin code is 342014[4], and village code is 01997400. The area of Khatawas is segregated as 1018 hectares unirrigated, the 248 hectare area under culturable waste (including gauchar and groves), and remaining 147 hectare area not available for cultivation.

Khatawas is a census village in the district of Jodhpur, Rajasthan. The village has a total population of 2181 and has total administration over 407 houses which are connected to supplies basic amenities like water and sewerage.

They depend on the agricultural markets (Mandi) of the nearby towns of Jodhpur to sell wood furniture and make their living.
