Khataura is a small village of 165 hectares in Atarra Tehsil in Banda district in the State of Uttar Pradesh, India.[2] The village is administrated by a sarpanch who is elected representative of the village by the local elections. Khataura depends on Atarra (MB), the nearest town for all major economic activities.[3] The village has government-provided water facilities that include One tap, One Well supply, One tank, and One handpump. The villagers also acquire water from some of the natural water sourcesOne canal. The population of the village depends on the source of drinking water during summer on Handpump. Khataura's pin code is 210201[4], and village code is 04824700. The area of Khataura is segregated as 135 hectares irrigated area, 4 hectares unirrigated area. the 5 hectare area under culturable waste (including gauchar and groves) and remaining 2 hectare area not available for cultivation.
