Khartala is a small village of 113 hectares in Dausa Tehsil in Dausa district in the State of Rajasthan, India.[2] The village is administrated by a sarpanch who is elected representative of the village by the local elections. Khartala depends on Dausa, the nearest town for all major economic activities.[3] The village has government-provided water facilities that include Two taps, One Well supply, which is 44.35% of the total supply, Two tanks, Two tubewells, and One handpump. The villagers also acquire water from some of the natural water sources - Two rivers, Two canals and Two springs. Khartala is also surrounded by Two lakes. The population of the village depends on the source of drinking water during summer on Handpump. Khartala's pin code is 303507[4], and village code is 01390500. The area of Khartala is segregated as 44.35 hectares irrigated area, 18.36 hectares unirrigated, the 50.76 hectare area under culturable waste (including gauchar and groves).

They depend on the agricultural markets (Mandi) of the nearby towns of Dausa to sell agricultural produce and make their living.
