Kharola is a small village of 186 hectares in Kotkasim Tehsil in Alwar district in the State of Rajasthan, India.[2] The village is administrated by a sarpanch who is elected representative of the village by the local elections. Kharola depends on KHAIRTHAL, the nearest town for all major economic activities.[3] The village has government-provided water facilities that include Two taps, One Well supply, which is 20.00% of the total supply, Two tanks, One tubewell, and One handpump. The villagers also acquire water from some of the natural water sources - Two rivers, Two canals and Two springs. Kharola is also surrounded by Two lakes. The population of the village depends on the source of drinking water during summer on Handpump. Kharola's pin code is 301404[4], and village code is 00797000. The area of Kharola is segregated as 84 hectares irrigated area, 86 hectares unirrigated, the 2 hectare area under culturable waste (including gauchar and groves), and remaining 14 hectare area not available for cultivation.
