Kharkhari is a small village of 251 hectares in Jhunjhunu Tehsil in Jhunjhunu district in the State of Rajasthan, India.[2] The village is administrated by a sarpanch who is elected representative of the village by the local elections. Kharkhari depends on Jhunjhunu, the nearest town for all major economic activities.[3] The village has government-provided water facilities that include Two taps, One Well supply, which is 81.00% of the total supply, Two tanks, Two tubewells, and Two handpumps. The villagers also acquire water from some of the natural water sources - Two rivers, Two canals and Two springs. Kharkhari is also surrounded by Two lakes. The population of the village depends on the source of drinking water during summer on Well. Kharkhari's pin code is 333011[4], and village code is 00679100. The area of Kharkhari is segregated as 81 hectares irrigated area, 146 hectares unirrigated, the 6 hectare area under culturable waste (including gauchar and groves), and remaining 18 hectare area not available for cultivation.
