Kharkara is a small village of 253 hectares in Jamwa Ramgarh Tehsil in Jaipur district, also known as the Pink City in the State of Rajasthan, India.[2] The village is administrated by a sarpanch who is elected representative of the village by the local elections. Kharkara depends on Jaipur, the nearest town for all major economic activities.[3] The village has government-provided water facilities that include Two taps, One Well supply, which is 33.01% of the total supply, Two tanks, One tubewell, and One handpump. The villagers also acquire water from some of the natural water sources - Two rivers, Two canals and Two springs. Kharkara is also surrounded by Two lakes. The population of the village depends on the source of drinking water during summer on Handpump. Kharkara's pin code is 303109[4], and village code is 01603900. The area of Kharkara is segregated as 33.01 hectares irrigated area, 82.12 hectares unirrigated, the 6.07 hectare area under culturable waste (including gauchar and groves), and remaining 52.07 hectare area not available for cultivation.

Kharkara is a census village in the district of Jaipur, Rajasthan. The village has a total population of 1859 and has total administration over 306 houses which are connected to supplies basic amenities like water and sewerage.

They depend on the agricultural markets (Mandi) of the nearby towns of Jaipur and Jaipur to sell leather shoes and make their living.
