Khariwara is a small village of 421 hectares in Lalsot Tehsil in Dausa district in the State of Rajasthan, India.[2] The village is administrated by a sarpanch who is elected representative of the village by the local elections. Khariwara depends on Lalsot, the nearest town for all major economic activities.[3] The village has government-provided water facilities that include Two taps, One Well supply, which is 40.13% of the total supply, One tank, One tubewell, and One handpump. The villagers also acquire water from some of the natural water sources - One river, Two canals and Two springs. Khariwara is also surrounded by Two lakes. The population of the village depends on the source of drinking water during summer on Handpump. Khariwara's pin code is 303511[4], and village code is 01423600. The area of Khariwara is segregated as 95.23 hectares irrigated area, 43.41 hectares unirrigated, the 11.21 hectare area under culturable waste (including gauchar and groves), and remaining 24.18 hectare area not available for cultivation.
