Kharera is a small village of 372 hectares in Gangapur Tehsil in Sawai Madhopur district, also known for Ranthambore National Park in the State of Rajasthan, India.[2] The village is administrated by a sarpanch who is elected representative of the village by the local elections. Kharera depends on GANGAPUR CITY, the nearest town for all major economic activities.[3] The village has government-provided water facilities that include Two taps, One Well supply, which is 24.50% of the total supply, Two tanks, One tubewell, and One handpump. The villagers also acquire water from some of the natural water sources - Two rivers, One canal and Two springs. Kharera is also surrounded by Two lakes. The population of the village depends on the source of drinking water during summer on Well. Kharera's pin code is 322205[4], and village code is 01263200. The area of Kharera is segregated as 174.74 hectares irrigated area, 154.25 hectares unirrigated, the 0.4 hectare area under culturable waste (including gauchar and groves), and remaining 42.12 hectare area not available for cultivation.

Kharera is a census village in the district of Sawai Madhopur, Rajasthan. The village has a total population of 805 and has total administration over 159 houses which are connected to supplies basic amenities like water and sewerage.
