Kharchi is a small village of 997 hectares in Marwar Junction Tehsil in Pali district in the State of Rajasthan, India.[2] The village is administrated by a sarpanch who is elected representative of the village by the local elections. Kharchi depends on Marwar Junction , the nearest town for all major economic activities.[3] The village has government-provided water facilities that include One tap, Two Wells supply, which is 165.00% of the total supply, Two tanks, One tubewell, and One handpump. The villagers also acquire water from some of the natural water sources - Two rivers, Two canals and Two springs. Kharchi is also surrounded by Two lakes. The population of the village depends on the source of drinking water during summer on Tubewell. Kharchi's pin code is 306001[4], and village code is 02441300. The area of Kharchi is segregated as 208 hectares irrigated area, 453 hectares unirrigated, the 124 hectare area under culturable waste (including gauchar and groves), and remaining 212 hectare area not available for cultivation.
