Kharal is a small village of 952 hectares in Sayla Tehsil in Jalor district, also known as Granite City in the State of Rajasthan, India.[2] The village is administrated by a sarpanch who is elected representative of the village by the local elections. Kharal depends on JALOR, the nearest town for all major economic activities.[3] The village has government-provided water facilities that include One tap, One Well supply, which is 304.00% of the total supply, Two tanks, One tubewell, and One handpump. The villagers also acquire water from some of the natural water sources - Two rivers, Two canals and Two springs. Kharal is also surrounded by Two lakes. The population of the village depends on the source of drinking water during summer on Handpump. Kharal's pin code is 343021[4], and village code is 02276300. The area of Kharal is segregated as 481 hectares irrigated area, 80 hectares unirrigated, the 21 hectare area under culturable waste (including gauchar and groves), and remaining 369.74 hectare area not available for cultivation.

They depend on the agricultural markets (Mandi) of the nearby towns of Jalor to sell ghee and make their living.
