Kharai is a small village of 401 hectares in Koil Tehsil in Aligarh district in the State of Uttar Pradesh, India.[2] The village is administrated by a sarpanch who is elected representative of the village by the local elections. Kharai depends on Jalali (NP), the nearest town for all major economic activities.[3] The village has government-provided water facilities that include One handpump. The villagers also acquire water from some of the natural water sources. The population of the village depends on the source of drinking water during summer on Handpump. Kharai's pin code is 202128[4], and village code is 01374000. The area of Kharai is segregated as 350 hectares irrigated area, 1 hectares unirrigated area. the 8 hectare area under culturable waste (including gauchar and groves), and remaining 12 hectare area not available for cultivation.
