Khanwar is a small village of 1335 hectares in Jayal Tehsil in Nagaur district in the State of Rajasthan, India.[2] The village is administrated by a sarpanch who is elected representative of the village by the local elections. Khanwar depends on Nagaur, the nearest town for all major economic activities.[3] The village has government-provided water facilities that include Two taps, One Well supply, One tank, One tubewell, and Two handpumps. The villagers also acquire water from some of the natural water sources - Two rivers, Two canals and Two springs. Khanwar is also surrounded by Two lakes. The population of the village depends on the source of drinking water during summer on Tubewell. Khanwar's pin code is 341027[4], and village code is 01791000.
