Khanpur is a small village of 636 hectares in Banda Tehsil in Banda district in the State of Uttar Pradesh, India.[2] The village is administrated by a sarpanch who is elected representative of the village by the local elections. Khanpur depends on Naraini (NP), the nearest town for all major economic activities.[3] The village has government-provided water facilities that include One Well supply and One handpump. The villagers also acquire water from some of the natural water sources. The population of the village depends on the source of drinking water during summer on Handpump. Khanpur's pin code is 210001[4], and village code is 04838400. The area of Khanpur is segregated as 208 hectares irrigated area, 266 hectares unirrigated area. the 16 hectare area under culturable waste (including gauchar and groves) and remaining 37 hectare area not available for cultivation.
