Khanniya is a small village of 227 hectares in Raipur Tehsil in Bhilwara district, also known as the Textile City in the State of Rajasthan, India.[2] The village is administrated by a sarpanch who is elected representative of the village by the local elections. Khanniya depends on Gangapur, the nearest town for all major economic activities.[3] The village has government-provided water facilities that include Two taps, One Well supply, which is 27.52% of the total supply, Two tanks, Two tubewells, and One handpump. The villagers also acquire water from some of the natural water sources - Two rivers, Two canals and Two springs. Khanniya is also surrounded by Two lakes. The population of the village depends on the source of drinking water during summer on Well. Khanniya's pin code is 311803[4], and village code is 02858200. The area of Khanniya is segregated as 27.52 hectares irrigated area, 63.09 hectares unirrigated, the 81.11 hectare area under culturable waste (including gauchar and groves), and remaining 55.28 hectare area not available for cultivation.

They depend on the agricultural markets (Mandi) of the nearby towns of Gangapur and Bhilwara to sell ghee and make their living.
