Khandewat is a small village of 1091 hectares in Niwai Tehsil in Tonk district in the State of Rajasthan, India.[2] The village is administrated by a sarpanch who is elected representative of the village by the local elections. Khandewat depends on Niwai, the nearest town for all major economic activities.[3] The village has government-provided water facilities that include Two taps, One Well supply, which is 37.06% of the total supply, One tank, Two tubewells, and One handpump. The villagers also acquire water from some of the natural water sources - Two rivers, Two canals and Two springs. Khandewat is also surrounded by Two lakes. The population of the village depends on the source of drinking water during summer on Well. Khandewat's pin code is 304021[4], and village code is 02622100. The area of Khandewat is segregated as 319.54 hectares irrigated area, 541.82 hectares unirrigated, the 175.22 hectare area under culturable waste (including gauchar and groves), and remaining 54.56 hectare area not available for cultivation.

They depend on the agricultural markets (Mandi) of the nearby towns of Niwai and Tonk to sell ghee and make their living.
