Khaled Al-Awad is a Saudi poet, from the new generation of poets in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia.
His Life and Poetry
Khaled Al-Awad was born in the kingdom of Saudi Arabia, in Al-Ahsaa Provence, in Al- Mubarraz. He is a father for six three girls, and three boys, who are AlAnood, Jood, Khoulood, Abdullah, Sadaad and Majid. He grew up in a small house with his mother and five siblings, his father passed away at the age of 15.
Kahled and Poetry
Khaled Al-Awad loved poetry from a young age and was an fan of great poets, including Prince Abdullah bin Faisal Al Saud, and the Prince Badr bin Abdul Mohsen Al Saud and many others.
Khaled moved into the lyrical poetry 7 years ago and collaborated with many young composers, including Badr Al-Thawadi, Fayez Al Saeed and Bandar Saad. His greatest hits was the song of “ Ya Sheikh Abdullah” which was sang by the Abdul Majid Abdullah, the famous singer. Later, he collaborated with great singers such as Mohammed Abdu, Rashed Al-Majed|Rashid Al Majid, Mansour Al Mohannadi, and amongst them of which were females such as :ar:منى_أمرشا|Mona Amarsha, Angham, Nawal El Kuwaitia, :ar:مشاعل_(مغنية)|Mashael and Hind.
