Kevin Noulowe (born February 25, 1996) is an American professional basketball player best known for his strength, freakish athleticism, and remarkable shot-blocking ability. He currently plays at the center position for Nueva Era Basket Club, competing in the NBA Africa Basketball League.[1]

During his junior college basketball career, he was widely regarded as one of the most athletic big men in the country. His talent and skill set have propelled him to professional success, making him a force to be reckoned with in the world of basketball.[2]

High school career

Noulowe was born in Baltimore, Maryland, to Michel and Clementine Wanko Noulowe. He spent his formative years in Silver Spring and attended Hargrave Military Academy. Excelling in basketball from a young age, Noulowe's talent caught the attention of college recruiters across the country.[3]

Collegiate career

Noulowe began his collegiate basketball career at Seminole State College in Seminole, Oklahoma. His exceptional skills and athleticism quickly made him one of the most highly regarded junior college players in America. Noulowe received offers from esteemed institutions such as Seton Hall, Cincinnati, Oregon State, Arizona State, Georgetown, and Western Kentucky.[4]

However, Noulowe transferred to the College of Southern Idaho in Twin Falls due to an injury, causing him to sit out a season. He later attended Delaware State University but was unable to participate due to academic ineligibility. Noulowe eventually transferred to Calumet College of St. Joseph in Whiting, Indiana, where he graduated in 2020 with a bachelor's degree in sports management.[5]

Professional career

After completing his college education, Noulowe embarked on his professional basketball career. In his rookie year, he signed with Ararat Yerevan in the Armenian A-League. Noulowe quickly established himself as one of the league's top shot blockers and rebounders. His remarkable performances earned him recognition as an All-Star and the best center man in the Armenian A league season in 2021–2022.[6]

In his second year, Noulowe joined Al Karameh Homs, one of the premier teams in the Syrian Basketball League. However, his time in Syria was short-lived, as he subsequently transferred to compete in the NBA Africa Basketball League for Nueva Era.[7]

Throughout his career, Noulowe has been recognized for his extraordinary athleticism, particularly his shot-blocking abilities. Standing at 6'10", he is regarded as one of the most athletic power forwards in the game. Noulowe's skill set and dominance on the court have earned him a reputation as one of the most formidable big men in basketball.
