Kevin Kobrine born on the 27th of January 2000. He is a Professional volleyball player who currently plays for one of the largest clubs in Portugal. (Sporting CP) Kobrine's time in the United States was spent at University of Southern California (USC) where he completed his graduate degree along with being one of the top scorer on the volleyball team. He also spent 4 years completing his Undergraduate degree in Sociology at UCLA, where he also played on the volleyball team and accumulated multiple awards.

Born and raised in Corona Del Mar, California, Kevin Kobrine began playing volleyball at a young age of 14. He attended Corona Del Mar Middle School and High School, where he played for the varsity team for three years. In the three seasons he played on varsity he led the team to two back to back CIF Southern Section Division I titles in 2017 and 2018.

Graduating from high school in 2018 Kobrine was the number 2 recruit in the nation and decided to play for the UCLA Bruins. Where he would play under head coach John Speraw who is the current U.S National team head coach. In his Senior year at UCLA, Kobrine received several player of the week awards and was named an AVCA Second Team All-American and helped lead the Bruins to the NCAA semifinals. He was also a finalist in the Bryan Ivie Award. Kobrine decided to transfer to USC for the opportunity to play under the guidance of USC's head coach and former Olympian Jeff Nygaard as a key factor in his decision. USC has a strong men's volleyball program, and Kobrine is expected to make a significant contribution to the team.

Off the court, Kobrine has been recognized for his academic achievements. He was named to the MPSF All-Academic Team in 2021.

In addition to his volleyball skills, Kobrine is also known for his leadership and work ethic. He was named the Orange County's Male Outstanding Competitor in 2018 and Top Volleyball player Orange County as well that year.

Professional Career

Kevin Kobrine was recently signed to Sporting Clube De Portugal a historic Portuguese sports organization that is consistently in the top level of European competitions across the all of their sports. Kevin Kobrine is entering his rookie season in the Portuguese Volleyball First Division. He was signed as an Opposite and looks to prove himself outside of his home country The United States. Kevin Kobrine is one of many high level signings for Sporting in the 2023-2024 season. In addition to Kevin Kobrine they have signed two Olympians, Jose Carrasco and Armando Velasquez both competing for Venezuela in the 2020 Olympic Games.
