Kevin Doyle Jr. (born April 23rd, 1998), professionally known as Junior For The Win (commonly referred to as JrFTW), is an American musician, artist, and advocate known for his contributions to the music industry and mental health awareness.

Early life and career

Kevin Doyle Jr., widely recognized by his stage name "Junior For The Win" or JrFTW, was born in Pennsylvania, USA. Raised in a loving and supportive family, he completed his high school education in 2017. Following his graduation, he pursued Toyota Mechanic training while nurturing his passions. Kevin worked in the automotive industry for eight years, gaining valuable experience.

JrFTW's journey into the world of music and artistic expression had modest beginnings. He initiated his musical endeavors using a personal computer and the software Mixcraft. As his passion for music grew, he made significant investments in his craft, acquiring a MacBook and a high-quality studio microphone. These acquisitions marked the initial steps in his musical journey, and he continually upgraded his equipment, ultimately transitioning to an iMac.

In 2018, JrFTW expanded his creative horizons, discovering a newfound fascination with photography and videography, providing fresh impetus to his artistic pursuits.

Musical journey

JrFTW's musical odyssey was shaped by a diverse range of musical genres, spanning from country to pop. However, it was in 2008 that his interest in hip-hop and rap was ignited, largely influenced by Eminem's release of "Relapse: Refill." The song "Beautiful," which he first encountered at a friend's residence, left an enduring impression and ignited his passion for the hip-hop genre.

In 2011, JrFTW found inspiration in his sister's boyfriend, an individual actively involved in crafting his own music. This encounter served as a catalyst, fueling JrFTW's desire to explore and nurture his own musical talents. Consequently, in 2012, he embarked on his music creation journey, initially composing songs for the enjoyment of friends and family. Although his early works were eventually deleted, they symbolized the nascent stage of his artistic voyage.

The year 2014 marked a significant milestone for JrFTW as he released his debut mixtape titled "Hell of a Ride," which was made available on the Spirilla platform. Driven by unwavering dedication and a profound love for music, he independently released a single titled "For The Night" on iTunes in 2015. Subsequently, he continued to create and release his own EPs, including "Hopeless Romantic" in 2016, "Asphadelacy" in 2017, and "I've Been Meaning To Say" in the same year.

Career, creativity, and advocacy

JrFTW's career continued to flourish in the ensuing years. In 2018, he released the "Snakes - EP," delving into themes of fake friends and deceptive individuals. The following year, "21" explored the challenges faced by young adults, and in 2020, "lately i'm fine" delved into the concept of emotional numbness. In 2022, his EP "Anxiety" drew inspiration from the mental health struggles faced by his TikTok friends.

In parallel to his music career, JrFTW developed a keen interest in photography and videography in 2020, even purchasing a drone for recreational use. By early 2022, he founded his own drone company, "Infinitum Imagery LLC."

Tragically, in 2021, JrFTW lost his aunt to cancer, which profoundly affected his family's mental well-being. He emerged as a pillar of support during this trying period, and by December 2021, he announced his advocacy for mental health awareness. By 2023, he had amassed a following of over 120,000 supporters, regularly engaging with them through live sessions to promote mental health.

In March 2023, JrFTW launched "Infinitum_US," a TikTok LIVE agency aimed at training and supporting other TikTok LIVE creators in their endeavors. He made the bold decision to leave his full-time job at Toyota in May 2023 to pursue TikTok LIVE full-time, a testament to his commitment to his passions and advocacy.
