Kesharpura is a small village of 807 hectares in Beawar Tehsil in Ajmer district in the State of Rajasthan, India.[2] The village is administrated by a sarpanch who is elected representative of the village by the local elections. Kesharpura depends on Ajmer, the nearest town for all major economic activities.[3] The village has government-provided water facilities that include Two taps, One Well supply, which is 179.40% of the total supply, Two tanks, One tubewell, and One handpump. The villagers also acquire water from some of the natural water sources - Two rivers, Two canals and Two springs. Kesharpura is also surrounded by Two lakes. The population of the village depends on the source of drinking water during summer on Handpump. Kesharpura's pin code is 305623[4], and village code is 02513400. The area of Kesharpura is segregated as 179.4 hectares irrigated area, 455.8 hectares unirrigated, the 19.4 hectare area under culturable waste (including gauchar and groves), and remaining 152.7 hectare area not available for cultivation.

They depend on the agricultural markets (Mandi) of the nearby towns of Ajmer to sell earthen pot and make their living.
