Kesarpura is a small village of 78 hectares in Ghatol Tehsil in Banswara district, also known as City of Hundred Islands in the State of Rajasthan, India.[2] The village is administrated by a sarpanch who is elected representative of the village by the local elections. Kesarpura depends on Banswara, the nearest town for all major economic activities.[3] The village has government-provided water facilities that include Two taps, One Well supply, Two tanks, Two tubewells, and One handpump. The villagers also acquire water from some of the natural water sources - Two rivers, Two canals and Two springs. Kesarpura is also surrounded by Two lakes. The population of the village depends on the source of drinking water during summer on Handpump. Kesarpura's pin code is 327021[4], and village code is 03379700. The area of Kesarpura is segregated as 47.2 hectares unirrigated, the 5.1 hectare area under culturable waste (including gauchar and groves), and remaining 25.5 hectare area not available for cultivation.
