Ker is a small village of 668 hectares in Raniwara Tehsil in Jalor district, also known as Granite City in the State of Rajasthan, India.[2] The village is administrated by a sarpanch who is elected representative of the village by the local elections. Ker depends on BHINMAL, the nearest town for all major economic activities.[3] The village has government-provided water facilities that include One tap, Two Wells supply, which is 88.00% of the total supply, Two tanks, Two tubewells, and One handpump. The villagers also acquire water from some of the natural water sources - Two rivers, Two canals and Two springs. Ker is also surrounded by Two lakes. The population of the village depends on the source of drinking water during summer on Handpump. Ker's pin code is 343039[4], and village code is 02337900. The area of Ker is segregated as 210 hectares irrigated area, 29 hectares unirrigated, the 347 hectare area under culturable waste (including gauchar and groves), and remaining 81.7 hectare area not available for cultivation.

They depend on the agricultural markets (Mandi) of the nearby towns of BHINMAL and Jalor to sell furniture and make their living.
