Keontra is a small village of 531.3 hectares in Auraiya Tehsil in Auraiya district in the State of Uttar Pradesh, India.[2] The village is administrated by a sarpanch who is elected representative of the village by the local elections. Keontra depends on auraiya, the nearest town for all major economic activities.[3] The village has government-provided water facilities that include One handpump. The villagers also acquire water from some of the natural water sources. The population of the village depends on the source of drinking water during summer on Tap. Keontra's pin code is 206122[4], and village code is 04173900. The area of Keontra is segregated as 20.2 hectares irrigated area, 511.58 hectares unirrigated area.
