Kennedy Mooers is an Americana guitarist/composer from Covina, CA. They are known for their experimental style and prolific catalogue. Having traveled by nearly every mode of transportation, they have obtained a wide perspective- encompassing every state in the USA. They are known for their down to Earth take on life as well as their involvement with the mafia. He was once flirting in Princeton and a goon came by and exclaimed, "He's a mob associate." He laughed it off and kept his potential date unintimidated.

Compositions

Kennedy learned to read and write music at a very young age. Their first guitar was gifted to them at five, and they already knew how to write musical notations before learning to play. He's written hundreds of pages of sheet music and regularly hands them out to the public. His books often include inserts of his compositions. His release, Quartets and Ten Strips, comes with a ten strip of blotter paper art by Zane Kesey (Son of One Flew Over the Cuckoo's Nest author, Ken Kesey) The sheet music created by the typically intoxicated composer is known to be possessed by artists such as Greensky Bluegrass, Billy Strings, Jeffrey Lewis, Mike Gordon (Phish), and Umphrey's McGee.

Bedroom recordings

Lofi is everywhere nowadays, and Kennedy is no exception. Their bedroom catalogue is huge, from his drunk and stoned acid head college days to the more developed compositions of his later life. They often went at "Lurpy" when performing solo and declined to show their identity.

In his college years, he played lead guitar in Tapatión with Tommy Ohlman (Superbloom), Konner Sutherland, (imamess), and Bali Southam (Incubus's neighbor). He later performed as a complimentary guitarist in Live Love Laugh with Nate Smith (Superbloom), Scott Conrad, and Keith Samuj (Chief Keith). He also did a one off collab with Chief Keith- Delorean.

He also plays backup instruments occasionally for nineties rappers such as Devin the Dude, Afroman, and Suga Free. His friend Ivan Kovachavich (Don Caprice) was a big influence in his move towards accompanying hip hop acts.

Street Performing

According to the police reports detailing the amount of undercover overwatch he's had, Kennedy is as well known as John Fruciante (Red Hot Chili Peppers). He's gotten into trouble in just about every city across the US while somehow maintaining a clean record. His primary income was books he'd written and playing guitar.

More Collaborations

The young guitarist also played in Marshmallow Blitz with Christopher Cruz, Jeremy Nannayyakkarra, Ricardo Moreno, Gerald Aguilar, and Kyle Huang.

Loony Bin was also a prominent project that later gained limited mainstream attention on country radio stations. It consisted mostly of himself and Matthew Aguilar, but also Aubry Gomez and Arisa Sekaguchi.

He also played with A Mental Patient, the group whose music is owned by Mike Gordon (bassist for Phish). Two releases have been made by this group. The first was made while squatting in a studio during a negative forty degree blizzard. The second was made at the Burlington Vermont Public Access Studio, where Bob Ross got his start.

ATF was another group he played in, where the four members were cartel. They are Giovanni Barrientes, Matthew Aguilar, Nick Madrid, and Kennedy Mooers. Their concerts included ample smoke. In the early days, they performed with The Red Pears, who went on to tour with Interpol.

Kennedy has also been his crazed self partying alongside Johnny Rod (W.A.S.P.), Peter Dinklage (Game of Thrones), Built to Spill, Hecc, Window Smashing Job Creators, Warren Zevon's band, David Byrne, Leon Hendrix and his band (who lived with and mentored him at 4am regularly), IamNeverDull, Charlie Day (It's Always Sunny in Philadelphia), Mike Schatz (Aqua Teen Hunger Force), David Byrne (Talking Heads), and JeRK.

Trouble with the Law

Santa Cruz, CA

Kennedy's legal history goes back to college when he won a Supreme Court case. A Brazilian hitchhiking girl and their friend were accompanying Kennedy on a climb to the top of a rollercoaster at the Santa Cruz Boardwalk. Earlier that week, bomb threats were made on the rollercoaster. The security showed up and accused the three of being Issis and detained them for about an hour. His Brazilian friend shook her behind at the police officers the entire time and exclaimed, upon entering the holding room, "Whose d*** do I need to suck to get us out of this?" Luckily, none. The case went to the Supreme Court and was easily won and wiped from their records.

New Hope, PA

Kennedy enjoys drinking as much as any American rockstar. He fought the bartender of John & Peter's (a venue regulated by Ween and George Thoreuogood). After ripping the ticket from the cops hand, the judge was surprised he even knew he had court. They didn't tell him! The cop didn't write enough. His punishment was to play a series of free concerts at the local food bank as community service.

The Innersleeve Records Incident

"A calm Amagansett afternoon, September 10, about Innersleeve Records- a 27 year old guitarist was assaulted by Craig Wright: the owner of the tiny store. After a misunderstanding over a Television Record and strings- the owner thought it in his age range to rough up Kennedy Mooers: from Covina, California. The musician acted in defense of their instrument, keeping it from Craig Wright’s grasp. In the frustration, the record store owner struck the 27 year old with a coin. This was later proven at the hospital; the doctor said he was, “struck with an object.” The bald policeman was of no help to the open minded guitarist. He induced a deep sense if so-what on Kennedy Mooers. The guitar player required seven stitches along his left eyebrow. The real kicker was when Craig Wright accused Kennedy Mooers of three charges, despite himself being the assailant. And to top it off- Craig Wright administered an extreme risk order, despite having been the attacker in the situation.

From the hospital to the police station was another unlikely event. With the free spirited guitarist in the back of the cruiser, one police officer removed his handgun from it's holster. He first pointed the weapon at the defendant, then to the passenger in uniform! Unaffiliated to the two in the front of the cruiser, Mooers kept his hands behind his head and relaxed. Upon returning to the station, Mooers was booked without any form of identification. He hadn't any license, passport, or card. Luckily, he was able to remain calm with a nicer police woman named Samantha. A long walk on the beach the following morning put the musician in creation mode..."

Kennedy was let off the hook and is in psychotherapy after the aforementioned events.
