Kenan Fazlic (born April 4, 2007) is a Canadian-Bosnian footballer who currently plays for FC Viktoria Edmonton U19.[1]

Club career

Fazlic joined the youth team of Southend United in 2013, originally playing as a fullback. He made the switch to goalkeeper in 2014. After three seasons with Southend United, he got scouted during a friendly match between Southend and FC London, where Fazlic was offered a trial with the 2007 boys team in 2015. After a successful trial, he joined the youth programs of FC London in 2015 and has been with the club until 2024. Following the conclusion of the 2024 OPDL season, he joined the London Dinamo FC 2007 Boys team for the 2024-25 indoor season, but left the club after 6 months. In September 2025, he joined the U19 Men's team of FC Viktoria in Edmonton, Alberta.

Southend United

Fazlic joined the Southend United 2007 Boys after his friend's dad was the coach and offered Fazlic to play. After playing fullback for half a season, Fazlic made the switch to play goalkeeper, a position he has played ever since. He left the club following the 2014 outdoor season, and joined the FC London youth programs.

FC London

Fazlic officially joined the youth programs of FC London for the 2015 season. In 2018, the youth teams of FC London rebranded to be known as London TFC. Although he joined FC London in 2015, he did play one indoor season for Southend United in 2016. From 2017, he started play as the first-choice goalkeeper for the London TFC Academy 2007 Boys Team, and in 2021 established himself as the first-choice goalkeeper for their first season in OPDL, the highest league level in Ontario for youth teams.

During the 2021 and 2022 OPDL seasons, he was coached by David Kwiek, and helped lead the team to finishes in 6th and 11th places, respectively. Also during these seasons, Fazlic also helped and played for the 2008 Boys as a goalkeeper. Fazlic even earned himself a U21 appearance for FC London in 2022, aged 15.

In 2023, he left his role as the 2008 Boys goalkeeper, and was the first-choice goalkeeper yet again for his U17 side that was coached under Will Cromack. In October 2023, his U17 side made it to the finals of the U19 FTF tournament, losing 1-0 in the final to Dixie SC.

In 2024, Fazlic was dropped and became the second-choice goalkeeper for the U17 Boys for the season. He made limited appearances with the club, which was a deciding factor on why he left the club after the 2024 season. On May 11, 2024, Fazlic received the first red card of his youth career, on his season debut, which hurt his club appearances even more. In November 2024, he made the decision to leave FC London and join London Dinamo FC for the 2024-25 indoor season.

London Dinamo

In November 2024, Fazlic joined London Dinamo FC for the 2024-25 indoor season. His debut for the club was on November 23, 2024, in a 5-0 loss against Bryst FC. His final appearance for the club was on April 12, 2025, in a 5-2 victory against Toronto CB Galaxy. Fazlic has not made a playing appearance since then.

FC Viktoria Edmonton

In September 2025, after moving to Alberta, Fazlic joined the U19 team of FC Viktoria Edmonton. He made his debut on October 20, 2025 in a 1-1 tie with NSU Elite.

Coaching career

In April 2025, after leaving London Dinamo FC, Fazlic rejoined FC London, becoming an assistant coach for their U20 and L2 teams in League1 Ontario, in a temporary role until August 2025.
