Kelwad is a small village of 1186 hectares in Sojat Tehsil in Pali district in the State of Rajasthan, India.[2] The village is administrated by a sarpanch who is elected representative of the village by the local elections. Kelwad depends on Sojat, the nearest town for all major economic activities.[3] The village has government-provided water facilities that include One tap, Two Wells supply, which is 300.00% of the total supply, Two tanks, One tubewell, and One handpump. The villagers also acquire water from some of the natural water sources - Two rivers, Two canals and Two springs. Kelwad is also surrounded by Two lakes. The population of the village depends on the source of drinking water during summer on Handpump. Kelwad's pin code is 306114[4], and village code is 02420200. The area of Kelwad is segregated as 417 hectares irrigated area, 230 hectares unirrigated, the 349 hectare area under culturable waste (including gauchar and groves), and remaining 190 hectare area not available for cultivation.
