Kelawa Kalan is a small village of 3849 hectares in Osian Tehsil in Jodhpur district, also known as the Blue City in the State of Rajasthan, India.[2] The village is administrated by a sarpanch who is elected representative of the village by the local elections. Kelawa Kalan depends on Jodhpur, the nearest town for all major economic activities.[3] The village has government-provided water facilities that include Two taps, One Well supply, One tank, One tubewell, and One handpump. The villagers also acquire water from some of the natural water sources - Two rivers, Two canals and Two springs. Kelawa Kalan is also surrounded by Two lakes. The population of the village depends on the source of drinking water during summer on Tubewell. Kelawa Kalan's pin code is 342037[4], and village code is 01943500. The area of Kelawa Kalan is segregated as 606.68 hectares irrigated area, 2514.32 hectares unirrigated, the 268.36 hectare area under culturable waste (including gauchar and groves), and remaining 459.53 hectare area not available for cultivation.
