Kelankot is a small village of 583 hectares in Pachpadra Tehsil in Barmer district in the State of Rajasthan, India.[2] The village is administrated by a sarpanch who is elected representative of the village by the local elections. Kelankot depends on BALOTRA, the nearest town for all major economic activities.[3] The village has government-provided water facilities that include One tap, Two Wells supply, One tank, Two tubewells, and One handpump. The villagers also acquire water from some of the natural water sources - Two rivers, Two canals and Two springs. Kelankot is also surrounded by Two lakes. The population of the village depends on the source of drinking water during summer on Handpump. Kelankot's pin code is 344032[4], and village code is 02147700. The area of Kelankot is segregated as 491 hectares unirrigated, the 43 hectare area under culturable waste (including gauchar and groves), and remaining 49 hectare area not available for cultivation.
