Kekindara is a small village of 2235 hectares in Jaitaran Tehsil in Pali district in the State of Rajasthan, India.[2] The village is administrated by a sarpanch who is elected representative of the village by the local elections. Kekindara depends on Jaitaran, the nearest town for all major economic activities.[3] The village has government-provided water facilities that include Two taps, Two Wells supply, which is 121.00% of the total supply, Two tanks, One tubewell, and One handpump. The villagers also acquire water from some of the natural water sources - Two rivers, Two canals and Two springs. Kekindara is also surrounded by Two lakes. The population of the village depends on the source of drinking water during summer on Handpump. Kekindara's pin code is 306301[4], and village code is 02396100. The area of Kekindara is segregated as 395 hectares irrigated area, 1379 hectares unirrigated, the 387 hectare area under culturable waste (including gauchar and groves), and remaining 74 hectare area not available for cultivation.
